Welcome message from the Interim Headteacher:

Dear visitor,

I am honoured to step into the role of Interim Headteacher and to support our school community during this important period of transition.

I would like to take this opportunity to offer my sincere thanks to our previous Headteacher, Mr Paul Madden, for his dedication, leadership and the lasting impact he has had on our students, staff and wider community. His commitment has helped shape the strong foundations upon which we continue to build today.

As I take on this role, I do so with a deep sense of moral purpose and responsibility. My focus is on ensuring continuity, maintaining the high standards we are proud of and supporting every member of our school community. At the same time, I bring a leadership approach that is forward-thinking and distinct, rooted in high expectations, strong relationships and a belief in empowering others. I firmly believe that every child deserves the very best education, opportunities and care, regardless of their background or starting point.

Safeguarding remains at the heart of everything we do; the safety, wellbeing and happiness of our students will always be our highest priority. We are committed to maintaining a vigilant and caring environment where every child feels secure, valued and listened to; where their voices are heard and respected.

Our school culture is something we are incredibly proud of. It is built on respect, inclusivity and a shared moral commitment to enabling every child to succeed and flourish. We strive to foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere where students are encouraged not only to be confident, resilient and kind, but also to develop the skills, character and ambition to shape their own futures and make a positive contribution to society. Staff work collaboratively, guided by strong values and a shared sense of purpose, to provide the highest quality education and support.

I am committed to working closely with staff, students, parents and governors to ensure that our school continues to thrive. Together, we will build on our existing strengths, celebrate achievements, and embrace opportunities for growth and improvement, always guided by what is right and in the best interests of our students.

I look forward to leading the school through this next chapter with integrity and compassion, ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive and succeed.

Kind Regards,
C Oultram,
Headteacher
