This 90 minute course takes place on Wednesday 17th June and is designed as an introduction to Minecraft and its capacity as a tool for learning and teaching.
Throughout the session, you will learn what Minecraft is, how and why it has risen to become the gaming and education giant is is today and most importantly, learn to play the game yourself while considering how it might be used to teach in your classroom.
Covering the very basics of play, you will learn to move, mine and craft in a 3D fully interactive world. Discovering what it is that is attracting millions of children all around the world and exploring how you might harness as a tool for the engagement of your pupils.
This course really is open to beginners of both Minecraft and Games-Based Learning in general. Come and see what you can do with games as a pedagogical tool!
